2010 was a pretty good year for our family. It was fairly calm and for that, I'm thankful! It was however, a year of change. Daddy Dearest left his job of 3 years and now has a job as a regional manager. He also finished his associate's degree online. I'm so proud of him and is desire to be successful. It makes me happy to know that he is the provider for our family and he continually makes decisions that are good for all of us! I made the decision to go back to school so that I can be a librarian. Turkey Butt joined the swim team and has made amazing progress, he's a little fish and I love it! The biggest adjustment has been how busy we are. There are days that we don't walk through the door until 8 pm, and it's hard. It's especially hard when DD is gone a LOT of the time. We've mostly adjusted and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way!
2011 will be interesting for us. DD and I have set some weight loss goals which (if met) we will reward ourselves with a trip to the tropics. DD will travel to Rome in February and I can't wait to hear all about it. Summer should bring about some swim competitions for Turkey Butt. I can't wait! We'll be looking for some dance classes for Sweet Pea as well, she enjoys being the center of attention!
