Thirty something...not twenty something

Last Saturday one of my friends and I flew to Houston to see the final show of the Nickelback US tour. I was beyond excited as DD and I saw them earlier this year and they put on a show that was AWESOME!
We got to the hotel and opted to take the shuttle from the hotel to the concert, which turned out to be a good thing! Anyways, we get to the concert, get our garb (no pink nickelback thongs for these girls!) and head to our seats. My friend and I really get along well, we laughed the entire night. We were amazed by many things, we could've spent the entire night people watching and that would've been some good entertainment. So, after we get seated, these two REALLY young teenagers take their seats right next to me. The one next to me, turns to me and says, "Ma'am, how much did you pay for your tickets?" I nearly cried, I'm not ready to be ma'am....
We had so much fun! It was incredibly loud and my ears rang for 2 days...Saving Abel was pretty good...I wasn't too sure I was going to like Papa Roach, they started really hard and scary, but by the end (could've been some help from other things, too!), they were rocking it! Hinder was good. Austin (the lead singer) thinks he's hotter than he is, but that's ok! My boys from Nickelback rocked it! It was so much fun! Chad Kroeger is amazing! He was having so much fun! The guys even played "Friends in Low Places", it was so funny! But, by the end of the show, Chad was quite inebriated...coulda been all the Grey Goose and shots of Jagermeister...maybe?? I'm smitten with the drummer...Daniel Adair....woah...Linkhe's got it going on...in lots of ways...It could be said that I have a thing for rockers, although, I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep up with that lifestyle...not that I'd trade, I'm just sayin'.....
So, it literally took me 3 days to recover, not nearly as young and vibrant as I used to be... Back in the day, I could handle a concert on a school night and still get up and go to work the next day. Now, I need extra days to recover from a weekend concert, that's no fun!

Here are a few pictures...not so fabulous...but a good time anyway!
